January CDP Theme Day

Photo(s) of the Year

Happy New Year!

As is the tradition with City Daily Photo, bloggers are challenged to post based on a theme. In January our theme has been “Photo of the Year.” On the CDP website I saw one photographer comment that he was going to make a collage and I thought “great idea” (and easier). So I’ve chosen a few photos of new discoveries or experiences that were particular to 2014.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Spring

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.

3. Follow The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements, and subscribe to our newsletter – we’ll highlight great photos from each month’s most popular challenge. Other great photos:

November Theme Day: Heights

November’s theme at City Daily Photo is heights, perfect since I went to Red Leaves Valley to see the crimson and gold leaves. Yes, it’s crowded, but for a view like this, it was worth the travel time and crowds.
