CDP Theme Day: Aging

DSCF8601

March’s theme is Aging. I could probably follow this prompt all month in China finding loads of aspects on the theme. Here’s one: a painting at the Jinan Art Museum.

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog <strong>(a new post!) anytime before the fol lowing Friday when the next photo theme will be announced. 2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag. 3. Follow The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements, and subscribe to our newsletter – we’ll highlight great photos from each month’s most popular challenge.

January CDP Theme Day

Photo(s) of the Year

Happy New Year!

As is the tradition with City Daily Photo, bloggers are challenged to post based on a theme. In January our theme has been “Photo of the Year.” On the CDP website I saw one photographer comment that he was going to make a collage and I thought “great idea” (and easier). So I’ve chosen a few photos of new discoveries or experiences that were particular to 2014.

Long Line

What is inside? The website doesn’t say, but there’s a line to get inside the Shandong Provincial Museum that zigzags along the front and then trails off two thirds of the way up to the street!

I guess it would take two hours or more to get inside.

What can this be?

China Daily reported that the Shandong Provincial Museum has a new permanent exhibit of taxidermies of African animals donated by American philanthropist Kenneth Behring.
