Here’s how it works:

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2013″ or “postaweek2013″ tag.

3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

October Theme Day: Silhouette

October 1st, time for a theme day! This month’s theme is “Silhouette.” This photos taken at the nightly light show downtown. The light show’s a wonderful part of life in Jinan. If you’re in Jinan in the spring, summer or early fall, it starts at 8pm in Quancheng Square.

I love watching these kids learn to skate in Quen Cheng Square, Downtown.

The moms love watching too.

September’s theme is people watching a great activity anywhere, but especially in China were there’s such diversity of clothes and, for me, culture.
