Travel Theme: Purple

Fountain-Light Show

This week Ailsa’s challenging bloggers to share photos that are purple, my favorite color. Here’s one of the light show downtown. It’s one of the highlights of life in Jinan. All ages come by to enjoy the music, lights and dancing water.

Nightly Light Show

I love watching the people and lights downtown at 8pm when the weather’s good. The fountain dances and plays with the audience, sometimes splashing and squirting us all if we aren’t careful.

To Cool Off

I love the lightshow at the fountain downtown.

Light Show

Every night at 8pm in Quencheng Square, Jinan has a light show around the central fountain. As the colored water dazzles, music plays. It’s free and quite festive. I wish we had these in my hometown.

Throughout the square people are dancing, roller blading, flying kites with electric lights, and practicing badminton and martial arts. The square is the place to be when it gets dark.
