Little Singers of Paris

June 2014 032

I got to go to a wonderful concert by the Little Singers of Paris. They sang songs in French, Latin, Italian, English, German and Chinese. The show had wonderful pacing, interaction and heavenly music. Lots of people brought their children, small children, and there wasn’t any fussing or fidgeting, just a rapt audience.

There seems to have been a movie about this boys’ choir.

The Motherland

Yesterday some of the teachers and a couple students had a concert for the Freshmen. The occasion was the upcoming National Day, China’s Fourth. The video above is an emotional ode to the Motherland.

We also had several songs including Edelweiss, which was done twice, and a skit about food safety and the hazards of buying candy outside of school. (I kid you not.)
