My new favorite time to walk is at night. The parks are gorgeous and cool after sundown. You’ll see hundreds of people exercising, dancing and walking. I love the lights on the buildings and bridges.

Next to the pumpkin is, gulp, a chicken’s foot. I went to lunch with my first year students and they ordered. It’s the first time I’ve tried this delicacy. Doubt I’d order them again, but if someone else does, I know I can partake and live to tell the tale.
