Friday Breakfast
I think you have to do something more than twice to make it a habit, but the last two weeks on Friday I’ve gotten my breakfast here. I don’t want to gain weight or have a heart attack so I can’t have these savory, long Chinese “donuts” all the time, but while I’m here I can have them once in a while. They’re a nice way to mark the end of the week.
Happy Birthday, Oreos!
It’s the 100th Birthday of the famous Oreo cookie, available in China in several novel flavors. I think these are chocolate and mint.
I’ve seen Oreos in every Asian country I’ve lived in or traveled to.
Wheels
Note the handles. In China in the winter where it’s cold, many bikers use these gloves that stick to the handlebars rather than to their hands to keep themselves warm. Clever, n’est pas?
